The CROP Walk is an annual, ecumenical 5K walkathon which raises funds for food- and hunger-related projects around the nation, with 25% of the funds being given to local projects. Anyone may walk or support a walker with contributions.
This year’s CROP Walk takes place on Sunday, October 9 at 1:30 PM (registration at 1 PM) at Brookside Park. In honor of our Centennial, we’re hoping many people will consider walking who have never taken part before. In fact, we’ve set our sights super high: our goal is 100 walkers!
To sign up to walk, or to donate to our team (which is currently in first place in Ames!), click here. Tim Gossett, Jackson Griffith, and Frank Amos also have participation forms.
